We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the trip out to our Spring GTG Yesterday. Even with rain threatening to put a damper on the day, we had over 600 people in over 400 cars roll through the lot throughout the day. This is a true testament to the dedication that enthusiasts have today, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of cars and people.

H2O 2009 Coverage
BlownEuros spent the past weekend down in Ocean City, MD at our annual retreat for H2O International. This has become a mecca for volkswagen, audi and general car enthusiasts from all over the east coast and has even garnered a great deal of attention from the west. The 2 day event includes a BBQ gathering on Saturday and a show on Sunday featuring all the major players aftermarket tuning. Volkswagen of America was even on hand with the new mk6 Golf and GTi as well as their own Stage 3 Passat CC. This, however, is just a small taste of what H2Oi is really about. (more…)

Thats the amount of time between now and our departure for Ocean City, MD for this years H2O International. Everyone I talk to is on a mad dash to finish up last minute projects, install the parts that have been collecting dust in the corner all summer and get the paint back into shape. There will be sleepless nights and frustration over the next 9 days all for what, another car show? No, this isn’t just another car show. This is THE car show. (more…)

This years AKA Rally, which was from July 31 to August 3, had shorter legs from each destination on our way down to the Keys but that did not hinder any of the fun.
East Coast Bash 3 – Party Time
Back at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ was East Coast Bash 3 on the 11th of July.
Well the Clubloose guys did it again. Put on another great event on a perfect summer day. Even for this one day drift event there were a lot of drift cars that ran hard and people that showed up to spectate.

NYC Midnight Run
What a great Saturday night!
Setup by a few guys from Luxury4Play, over 100 exotic cars congregated on the streets of New York City late Saturday night. Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, GTR … It was an absolute perfect clear crisp night. The sound of high horsepower machines rumbled down the streets as we cruised down the West Side Highway and weaved our way through the city canyons. As we rolled into Times Square you could see awe in the faces of the unknowing tourists, scrambling for cameras like it was the Thanksgiving Day Parade. A Ferrari 550 Maranello V-12, throttle blipping, under the lights and signs that make Time Square famous; What would you do? People were in awe. Ripping out digital cameras, cell phones, and staring like it was Thanksgiving Day Parade. The feeling and emotion of so many exotics gathered in the big apple was an experience that will not be forgotten.

BMW Art Cars at Grand Central Terminal, NYC
From March 24 to April 6, NYC was a stop in the BMW Art Car World Tour. Right before the BlownEuros Supports Annual GTG, our group took the trip up from the Philadelphia Area taking the New Jersey Transit Line North towards an art gallery that we all looked foward to.

On November 15th BlownEuros attended the DCI Toys 4 Tots fundraiser at FDR Park in South Philly. Early morning rain showers loomed overhead but nothing could keep the VW/ Audi die hards away and soon abnormally warm November weather would make for a great day for a gtg.
